In creating the "Meggs’ Mosaic" hoodie, I aimed to fuse the rich heritage of graphic design with modern fashion. This piece emerged from an assignment in my History of Graphic Design class in which we were instructed to select a number of images from Philip B. Meggs' "A History of Graphic Design" and reinterpret them into a cohesive 'container project'. I envisioned a hoodie that would carry the narrative of design's evolution in an all-over print pattern, making a statement piece that's as educational as it is eye-catching.

On one sleeve, the term 'graphic design' is a nod to the educational purpose of this garment, while the other sleeve proudly bears 'spirited styx', infusing my personal signature into the work.
